All the coronavirus interest is probably affecting negatively those of us that write about other topics and who have older evergreen stories. But I think it’ll be only temporary. There might even be an upside to it. Lots of new readers are discovering Medium now and some of them will most likely stay around. And more readers can only be a good thing for us writers in the long term, even if our stories aren’t doing as well right now as they used to.
