Ditto. Top 1000 doesn’t mean you earn much at all.

I laughed when I got told I was one of the top 1000 writers here, because I knew it revealed what I suspected from the beginning: most writers do not make those big numbers that people are always touting. Simply put, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
