Hey, Danh. I'm not entirely sure I understand your question. The name of the note you want to link to is the name of the file in which the note is stored. If your question was more about which particular notes to link to, the answer is that that's up to you. But in general, you don't need to link to a lot of notes. Remember that you're creating a network of notes. So as long as there is a path from one note to another, you're good. It's sort of like creating a network of roads in a country. You don't need a dedicated road between any two cities A and D that people might want to travel between. As long as there is a path from A to a city B, followed by a city C, followed by D, you're good to go from A to D. If you notice that it would be convenient to travel directly from A to D, then you simply build a road from A to D, i.e., you create a link from note A to note D.
In other words, you generally build links between two notes by first traversing your network of notes and then realizing that two particular notes are closely related and thus a dedicated link should exist between them.
Usually, you also have some notes that act as a hub or entry point to the network of all your notes. For instance, you might have a note titled science, that links to notes titled biology, chemistry, physics, etc. And then biology, chemistry, and physics might be hub notes themselves that branch out into more specific areas of science.
And of course, as you say, you can also use the tags to quickly scan through all the notes on a particular topic and see if any of these old notes should be linked to the note you just created.
Basically, connections between notes are established organically as you work with your Zettelkasten and realize that ideas in different notes are related.
How you search for notes by tag or how you follow links depends on the specific tool you use to implement a Zettelkasten. In 1Writer, for example, if you tap on something like this:
[[file_name]]
It will automatically open the file named file_name. Similarly, 1Writer provides you with a sidebar where you can easily see all of the tags you used in your Zettelkasten. You simply tap on one of those tags and it lets you see all the files that contain that tag.
Hope that helps :-)
