Hey, Kat. I think there's a misunderstanding.

I don't actually want people to publish a lot of garbage and I'm not a quantity-first writer myself. All I'm saying is that on the quantity versus quality debate—and if money happens to be your main goal—you cannot realistically beat someone who publishes a lot more than you and who's writing remains good enough.

In other words:

"good enough + being prolific" pretty much almost beats "attempting to be excellent + not being prolific"

Anyway, if we don't agree, that's fine. I welcome other opinions.
