I actually wish there was a way to disable the stats so that there was no way to look at them. They just mess with your mind and don’t really provide anything useful.

You need a large sample size (thousands of data points) to draw conclusions and no one publishes that many stories.

Stats for all medium stories (aggregated from all writers), OTOH, might be interesting. But we don’t have access to those stats.
