I agree! In fact, my favorite definition of success is being able to spend one’s days as one wishes. For me that includes writing and cartooning. Unfortunately, it also includes eating. So eventually I do need to have a bit of financial success too so that I can keep spewing out words and doodling without starving. But if I can’t make it work, well, then I’ll have to find another enjoyable way to spend my days that does pay the bills…
