I used to be all about the monogamous approach too, which combined with unhealthy perfectionism, leads to an abysmal publishing rate—and lots of frustration!

I'm trying this approach now and it's definitely more fun. Although it hasn't increased my output. But that's mostly because I'm just not writing much lately since I’m currently on a long backpacking trip around Latin America :)
