I used to think that way too. But after having several good enough posts go viral and many many posts that I spent weeks on flop miserably, I’ve changed my mind.

But it’s all relative. What’s “good enough” for me might be impressive to one person and crap to another. And your advice is sensible for writers who are not perfectionists. Perfectionist writers, though, need to hear the exact opposite. They need to hear that it's ridiculous to spend months on a three-minute piece if they want to make it in the fast-moving blogging world.

Also, the top 1% on this platform aren’t and never have been the best writers. They are good enough writers who benefited from being first here, who exploited cumulative advantages, and who the Matthew Effect rewarded. At least that’s my pompous opinion ;)
