I'd say on Twitter in particular you should start out engaging with others. But eventually you can switch over to just sharing breadcrumbs and people will find you.

And, no, the idea is not to generate an insane volume of breadcrumbs. That sounds like a lot of work and the breadcrumb method is not about creating extra work for yourself 😅

It's more about simply publishing raw stuff you’re doing anyway to at least be findable :-)
