I’m coming to the same conclusion. Most of my stories are only making a handful of dollars, but I have one that made a little over $200 this month and I spent at least two weeks working on that one.

I think it’s definitely not worth to compromise quality for quantity. Curators may put you in curation jail if you publish too much low quality stuff and you may get a reputation among publication editors for writing mediocre stuff.

Although we must also be careful not to set the bar too high. Too high and we’ll just publish a trickle of content.
