My understanding is that unless you agreed to some sort of exclusive deal with a particular publication or handed over the copyright, the words are yours and you're free to take them elsewhere. And as far as I know, you don't even have to say where the words first appeared (although you may want to check with Newsbreak or wherever else you're considering to republish).
