Nope. Never got any backlash on that and I don’t think I should. That female character is a recurring character and is based on a real person — my wife Fabi (the bald one is my alter ego). So anyone criticizing Fabi’s cartoon for having long hair and occasionally wearing a dress and high heels would also be criticizing her. And I don’t think that’d be cool. Everyone is free to dress as they want. And if my wife enjoys wearing classic female attire sometimes, I don’t think that’s anyone’s business to object to.

In any case, if my wife ever shaves her head or starts wearing army boots, I’ll make sure to update the cartoon version too :)

PS: This was the first cartoon in which I ever drew her in a dress and high heels. So except for the long hair, her cartoon version usually doesn’t dress stereotypically female (real-world Fabi doesn’t either).
