Not sure I understand… The content that inspires my writing comes from a plethora of sources: YouTube, podcasts, books, Medium, Twitter, Wikipedia, my RSS reader, emails, comments like the one you wrote, newsletters, real-life conversations and experiences, etc.

As to whether writing in different niches has caused me to lose subscribers at any point, I don't think so. But honestly, I never look at my stats. So I can't tell for sure :)
