But in all seriousness, I do think there’s a limit to how extreme things are going to get. I mean, Photoshop lets us create these absurdities right now and yet advertisers don’t plaster the most extreme versions on billboards. For instance, we prefer women with long necks, but a woman that could put a giraffe to shame is no longer attractive to us — well, at least it’s not to me.

Also, I’m more worried about ubiquitous VR than what genetic modification will do to us.
