Yeah, absolutely. Both the effects of COVID and the vaccines need to be continuously monitored (as they are).
But from all I’ve read, what worries me the most is people not getting vaccinated. The pandemic is still raging in most parts of the world and we’re in a race against deadlier and more contagious strains evolving. And it seems pretty clear that the best tool against the virus is vaccination.
If we fail in getting the world vaccinated, we may end up with new coronavirus strains coming back year after year after year…
So we will not only have to worry about COVID-19, but also about COVID-22, COVID-23, COVID-24, etc.
