Thanks for the helpful article, but I have some questions.

Do your quick posts tend to get curated? If so, do you think it matters if your goal is to increase earnings?

I have only been writing on medium for a little less than two months. All my well researched articles, which are backed up with plenty of references, seem to easily get curated and get read significantly more. But as soon as I write something without references, at least so far, it doesn’t get curated and it gets far fewer views.

So do you think the advice of publishing quicker is good advice for beginning writers if their goal is to increase their earnings?

I’m just wondering because if I don’t have many followers yet, I understand that it’s a priority to get curated and to get into publications with large audiences. But if my stories are not well-researched and top-notch, that seems to be much more difficult.

I guess once you have plenty of followers it’s different. Then you already have readers regardless of curation and publication acceptance.
