I was very lucky in that I had some great math and science teachers in high school. And I think that made all the difference.

My history and literature teachers, on the other hand, meh... They turned me off from those two subjects for a good two decades.

Nowadays I think pretty much everything is interesting as long as it's approached the right way :-)
