Don’t be too hard on yourself. The only reason I haven’t given up yet is because I’ve been luckier than most. For instance, I have had one article go semi-viral early on for reasons I don’t understand and this gave me a big motivational boost that has spurred me on ever since.

Also, I don’t have to worry about paying any bills right now because I’m living with my in-laws, don’t have kids, and my wife has a real job. So I can afford to just keep trying for a little longer. But if my circumstances change in any way, I’ll probably have to abandon this pipe dream and get a real job…
