And yeah, I get your point about advertisements and referrals. But the cool thing with the approach I propose is that it wouldn't be a referral anymore. It would be a patronage or "bonus from fans"! And that, I think, is a cool idea.

I would even be willing to pay more than $5 a month just so that I have extra bonus to hand out to my favorite writers!
