That happens to me all the time too. I’m given some piece of advice or someone shares a certain perspective with me and it goes through one ear and exits through the other. It’s as if I have a veil in front of me. And then, sometimes after years, someone says that same thing I’ve heard a hundred times, but does so in just the right way at just the right moment and it all suddenly clicks. The veil is removed and I finally get it.
