Weirdly I enjoy planning in other areas of my life, e.g., planning surprise gifts or dates for my wife. But when it comes to trips, I always prefer not having to plan anything :)

I guess it's similar to food. I love eating good food, but cooking? No thanks! But I know a lot of people love cooking!
