When I started out, I was actually considering publishing in several languages. But so far I’ve only translated my Zettelkasten article to Spanish and German.

In the end I’ve decided to only write in English for several reasons:

- Non-English content doesn’t seem to pay well here on Medium and I’m not aware of anything like it for other languages.
- The vast majority of my followers on Medium don’t speak Spanish or German and me publishing in these languages would just clutter their feeds and annoy them. A workaround would be to create a new profile for each of these languages, but then I would start from scratch with zero followers.
- It’s much more fun to write new stuff than to translate old stuff.
