Yeah, there are some topics I haven't written about myself too because I can foresee some drama…

Ideally, everyone should want to find out what's objectively true and disagreements shouldn't be a war of opinions but a collaboration of different viewpoints with the goal of finding common ground, debugging erroneous thinking, and getting as good an approximation to reality as possible.

In that sense, even wrong opinions can be helpful since they allow you to refine your thinking and revise potential holes in your arguments.

Unfortunately, though, disagreements tend to lead to confrontations and not collaborations :-(
